Abstract:

This paper elaborates the different applications of text/photo separation in copiers, and puts forward a new effective and efficient method of doing T  /P through selecting the optimum threshold of an image first, and then getting the counts of image pixels which traverse the threshold. Finally we give   the real effect based on the method.
