Abstract:

The research background and significance for the DNA sequence assembly are described in this paper. Then, the fundamental processing and research prog ress of two kinds of algorithms for assembly are presented. Next, the challenges and corresponding treatment methods for assembly are analyzed. Finally  the future research on DNA sequence assembly is predicted.
