Abstract:

The problem of digital rights protection plays an imporatant role in the field of network education. The paper begins with the problem of rights manag ement in learning resources, presents the rights expression model for learning resources,and designs a method of rights expression using the characteris tics of learning resources. This model adds the constraint and obligation elements to the traditional core set which consists of subject, right and reso urce. Structurally it is designed into a XML-bound certificate model, which makes it more exercisable. Based on the model, we also propose an enforcemen  t mechanism of rights control for learning resources,and implement it by adopting a Web-based prototype system
