A best point smoothing method for finding the best seam

摘要:

针对目前大多数算法在图像拼接过程中仍然存在明显缝隙的缺陷,提出了最佳点平滑方法,首先采用SIFT算法提取特征点,并用PCASIFT对特征描述符做降维处理;然后通过RANSAC消除误匹配点,将三基色最为接近的点作为拼接点,之后对拼接点集进行平滑处理;最后得到最佳拼接线。通过仿真实验表明,算法在保证了时间效率的同时,使得彩色图像得到了更好的拼接效果。

Abstract:

There are obvious crack defects in most of the existing algorithms in the process of image mosaic, therefore we present a best point smoothing method for finding the best seam. Firstly, we extract feature points through the scale invariant feature transform (SIFT) algorithm and reduce the dimension of the feature descriptors with the PCASIFT algorithm. Then we eliminate the false matching points by the RANSAC and take the closest points to the three primary colors as the splice points. Finally the splice point set is smoothed and the best stitching line is obtained. Simulation results show that the proposed  algorithm has high time efficiency and can obtain a better color image mosaic.
