Abstract:

Backup is an important way for data security. Generally network backup management systems adopt the B/S structure and separate the backup nodes from e  ach other, which easily leads to the management server＇s heavy load, the high-requrement bandwidth and low backup speed in practical applications. The paper provides the framework of the backup management system based on mobile agents, and illuminates its design and implementation. By adopting the tec hnology of mobile agents, the final experiment denominates the efficiency improvement of the backup system.
