Abstract:

A novel frame integral algorithm based on discrete wavelet transform （DWT） for image enhancement is proposed in this paper. The frame integral techn  ique can enhance image quality efficiently, but traditional frame integral techniques can inevitably lead to overflow. What is presented in this paper is a novel DWT-based frame integral method which makes use of the dissimilarity and complementarity existing in the information on different wavelet tran sform scales.
