短信网关在短信服务中起着至关重要的作用。本文首先介绍了短信网关的业务流程和工作机制，然后以一个自主开发的企信通系统论述了短信网关在其中所发挥的作用。

Abstract:
Short message gateways play a key role in short message services. This paper first introduces the service flow and mechanism of SMG, and then illustra tes the application of SMG by a given example of a home-made enterprise short message system.
