摘要：
本文讨论了触发器机制为达到实用化的目的应遵循的几个原则，提出了简单且符合实际应用特点的S-A模型，阐述了国产商用数据库管理系统DM4的触发器机制。该机制在方案 的设计与实现中充分贯彻了上述原则。

Abstract:
The principles which a trigger mechanism should follow to achieve practicability are discussed. The S-A model which is simple and conforms to the feat ures of real applications is proposed. The trigger mechanism of DM4, a native commercial database management system, is expatiated in the paper. This me chanism is designed and implemented based on the abovementioned principles.
