Abstract:

Because there are many differences between the Chinese query sentence of GIS and the extended space Select Query Language sentence, the conversion is difficult. In this paper the middle language in Chinese query systems of GIS is studied. The middle language including the structures of sentence inn, e ntity inn, query goal inn, query condition inn and the string of sentence is put forward. The grammar rules have been set down, and the algorithm for translating the Chinese query sentences of GIS into the middle language is designed. The experiments show that the algorithm can translate a majority of Chinese query sentences of GIS into the middle language.
