Abstract:

This paper first analyzes the characteristics of workflow transaction , and on the basis we propose FLTM, a multilevel transaction model. The model aims at the long transaction which occurs frequently in workflow. The model does not need all the transactions to comply with ACID, and it can describe the various requirements from loose to rigorous transaction properties. In the model the user can specify the end of compensation and the way to handle the failures of transaction according to specific applications. We define loose ACI, and formally describe the FLTM transaction execution and compensation
