Abstract:

The research on real-time scheduling algorithms has been a hot and hard point in the field of real-time systems, In the past few years, rapidly-develo ped multimedia applications demand real-time services to ensure QoS. However, it is hard to describe multimedia application using traditional task model s because of the characteristics of multimedia applications. The paper puts forth a multimedia task model based on QoS,and gives an algorithm of computi ng system QoS indexes for the model. The model is conducive to the theoretical analysis of muhimedia real-time systems and is also conducive to the stud y of the scheduling algorithm.
