Abstract:

The performance analysis of the route protocol for designing good route protocols is very helpful, but the traditional route performance analysis often concentrates the route performance on the network or the energy consumption. For that purpose, this paper puts forward a weighing route performance an alysis index which considers the node energy consumption in the course of moving, and it uses the weight route index to simulate the DSR and DSDV route   protocols based on NS2. The results indicate that on-demand route protocols have more excellent performance in this method.
