摘要：
在多个WLAN之间进行实时通信时,网络层切换带来的过长时延成为保障实时通信质量的重要制约因素,如今提出的许多IP切换方法产生的时延都大到不能满足实时通信的要求。本文提出一种基于IEEE802.11的IAPP协议的快速IP切换方法。该方法切换时产生的时延小,能够较好地支持一些实时应用,如在WLAN上传输语音（VoWLAN）等应用。

Abstract:
The long network-layer handoff latency brought by active real-time communications over wireless LANs（WLANs） becomes a significant restraining factor for the quality of real-time communications.Many existing approaches of IP handoff impose too prolonged latency to meet the requirements of real-time communications.This paper presents a fast IP handoff method which depends on IAPP of IEEE802.11,and gives lower latency to provide preferable real-time a pplications such as Voice over WLANs（VoWLAN）
