Abstract:

With the blooming of Web services, there are more and more available services on the Internet. The services＇ non-functional aspect, i.e. quality of s ervice （QoS） ,is an important criteria for service matching, ranking and selection. To enable semantic service discovery with the QoS support, a hiera achical QoS semantics model is proposed in this article according to the QoS relations with applications. The model enables the service providers to pro vide different levels of QoS ensurance based on SLA under different scenarios. Based on this model, the paper details the algorithms for QoS matchmaking and service ranking. Finally, the paper gives the framework for service discovery with QoS ontology.
