Abstract:

In this paper, the implementation of the video acquisition and data processing system based on TMS320DM642 is introduced. The fUnction of the system is to extract real-time images from the analog video signals of the CCD camera, then digitize them and send it to the processor for subsequent image processing and analysis. With favorable universality and expansibility, this system can be applied in various occasions that are relevant to video acquisition and data processing. A complete hardware design and detailed software flow charts are introduced in this paper.
