Abstract:

For the recognition of different similar target-on-sea objects,a set of wavelet moment invariants are applied based on the invariant moment theory an  wavelet analysis,and a feature selection method based on the DB Index criterion is presented in order to get a locally optimum feature set.The experime ntal results prove that this algorithm is superior to Hu＇s moment invariants and Zernike＇s moment invariants on recognition efficiency.
