Abstract:

Mobile ad hoc networks are multihop wireless networks which are acentric and self-organizing,and effective key management is the linchpin of network security.So a key management framework,which responds rapidly in mobile ad hoc networks,is proposed.The framework establishes PKI by applying a verifiabl e secret sharing scheme,and constructs a server group that responsds rapidly by introducing a routing mechanism to the framework.The server group responsds rapidly in secret share updating in the server group and certificate updating for all nodes.Simulation results are given for validating the framework performance.
