Abstract:

Syntactic transfer ambiguity disambiguation and target-language generation treatment are two important stages of hybrid Chinese-English machine translation. The article mainly includes two parts： （1）we discuss these problems and give some idiographic ambiguity resolution methods, based on the ambigguities distributed in every layer of the natural language; （2）we establish the tense conversion and match rules for Chinese-English machine translatiion, and explores the target-language generation treatment.
