Abstract:

The fast development of the Internet makes the distributed WebGIS more and more important in the application area. An efficient method to improve the  distributed query for WebGIS is proposed. This paper gives an integrated strategy to access distributed spatial data sets based on the dual-cache mechan  ism, and presents the corresponding data structure. The integrated query strategy and the replacement policy are discussed. Experimental results show th at great performance optimization can be achieved.
