Abstract:

To overcome the limitations of Kerberos caused by symmetric key cryptography and the complexity of usage caused by the Public Key Algorithm, this paper introduces an improved Kerberos algorithm based on the Secure Remote Password and the Public Key Algorithm. The algorithm carries out the download of   the encrypted private-key by an improved SRP algorithm,and the data signature and authentication by the decrypted private-key. Finally this paper analyz es the security of the improved algorithm and the performance of execution.
