Abstract:

Wireless Sensor Networks（WSNs） is a new type of self-organising networks, it has a wide application foreground. This paper analyses the characterist  ics, structure and application domain of sensor networks, gives the definition of data dissemination of wireless sensor networks and the underlying rout   ing and communication schemes. This paper categorizes the existing data dissemination algorithms of wireless sensor networks,and gives the key ideas of    some classical data dissemination algorithms. Finally, this paper proposes the promising ideas for designing energy-efficient data dissemination algorit  hms.
