摘要:
高密度快速存储设备需求的增长促进了读写通道技术的快速发展。PRML技术作为信道中广泛采用的信号处理技术,对提高磁存储密度亦起到了重要的作用。本文给出了硬盘PR ML信号系统的仿真模型并建立了其仿真系统;着重探讨了仿真系统中各个重要环节的设计思想,并分别在无码间干扰和引入码间干扰两种情况下验证了仿真系统的正确性。该系统不仅为设计读写通道提供了实验性平台,同时仿真结果也为优化现有读写通道提供了理论依据。

Abstract:
The growing demand in high-density, quick equipment boosts the rapid development of the read/write channel technology. As a signal processing technology being widely used in the channel, PRML plays an important role in improving hard disk density. In this paper, a simulation model of the PRML signal system is proposed and created. The design of all the important aspects in the PRML system is especially discussed and its accuracy is approved with the inter-symbol inter-ference and without inter-symbol interference respectively. The system can not only be used as an experimental platform for designing disk read/write channels, but its results can be taken as the theoretical basis for optimizing the existing read/write channels.
