Abstract:

Because of the explosive growth of the heterogeneous data on the Internet, the development of the vertical search engine meets a bottleneck. This pape  r introduces the ontology technology to vertical search, and constructs a vertical search system model. In this model, the heterogeneous information cap  tured from the Internet is described by the ontology technology, the concept similarity is computed, and the semantic ontology query is realized. Thus t  he recall ratio and the precision ratio of the engine are greatly improved.
