Abstract:

One of the most promising advantages of the Web service technology is the possibility of creating value-added services by combining the existing ones.  In order to increase the reliability of service composition, software fault tolerance can be used. Aiming at the composite Web services described by th   e BPEL process, this paper proposes an approach to increasing the reliability of Web service composition by software fault tolerance, and calculate the   reliability measure using a stochastic reward net model.
