Abstract:

DICOM is an international standard in medical imaging and communications. With the creating of the DICOM standard, more and more medical equipment abi de by this protocol. But medical images in the DICOM format can not be displayed directly under the Windows platform. This paper firstly analyzes the DI  COM file format, and gives the realization process of the DICOM images shown and stored in the Windows platform using LabVIEW, and applies the IMAQ software package to processing medical images,which is used to enhance the image quality.
