Abstract:

When using the authentication system based on hardware recognition to protect Web applications which is of the B/S Architecture, there occurs the prob  lem of difficultly getting the user identity information, which increases the complexity of application business logic, and the pressure on Web servers.  This paper describes an authentication controlware based on ActiveX, which solves these problem well, and brings many benefits in availability, safety  and efficiency, which has good practicability.
