Abstract:

It is an important issue to choose plans according to the characteristics of UWB systems in designing the MAC layer of them. On the one hand, the pres ent MAC protocol can be used in them; on the other hand, new MAC technologies can be adaptive for them which can be controlled neatly. In this paper, th  e principle and the realization of UWB systems are introduced, and a new MAC protocol adaptive for UWB systems is developed. Simulation and reasonable c onclusion analysis for the new protocol are made.
