Abstract:

The fine-grained snapshot at the file level provides a fast and flexible solution to enterprises＇data backup and recovery. This paper presents a fine -grained general snapshot layer between VFS and the underlying file systems in Linux, and designs a low-cost, high-performance and configurable remote d isaster system based on the snapshot layer.
