Abstract:

This study proposes a novel terminology called orange technology which is combined with the scientific techniques and the concept of humanistic concern. The orange technology can be divided into three applied levels: health technology, happiness technology, and care technology. These applied levels not only focus on the techniques related with human health but also pay more attention to the happiness technologies and humanistic concern. Furthermore, the integration of these three levels and the present scientific technologies can be used in several services such as distance medical care, health and safety care, home care, selfcare movement, and multimedia interactions. The promotion of the orange technology can lead more people understand the meaning of orange technology, and truly bring health care and happiness to the humanbeing.
