摘要:

针对Turbo码译码延时较大的问题进行研究。通过分析译码器输出外信息绝对值信噪比的统计特性,利用译码器输出外信息绝对值信噪比的收敛特性,提出一种新的迭代停止准则,简称为SBAE准则。将新准则与现有的经典迭代停止准则对比,新准则节省了大量存储空间,通过仿真分析新准则下Turbo性能及平均迭代次数,得出结论:新准则在保证译码性能的同时,有效减少了译码的平均迭代次数,加速了Turbo码的译码过程,提高了译码效率,为Turbo码在实时系统中的应用提供一种有效方法。

Abstract:

The paper studies the high delay problem for the decoding of Turbo code, analyses the SNR based on the absolute value of extrinsic information outputted by the decoder, makes use of its convergence trait, and proposes a new stopping criterion of turbo code, which is named the SBAE criterion. Compared to other classical stopping criterions, the new criterion saves lots of memories. Analyzing the performance of Turbo code and the average number of iterations, it can be concluded that the new criterion reduces the average number of iterations efficiently, satisfies the need of bit error rate performance, accelerates the decoding process, improves the decoding efficiency, and provides an effective method for the Turbo code applied in a realtime system.
