Abstract:

Based on the introduction of the wellknown pervasive computing research projects, especially the implementation of those pervasive computingoriented software integrated environment prototypes. this paper sums up and analyzes some common problems that the  research of pervasive computingoriented software integrated environments focuses on, including the support of the selfadaptive software architecture, the reusable services and the extensions to the traditional middleware techniques to adapt the pervasive computing environments. Subsequently, the challenges of the research on software integrated environments in the pervasive computingoriented applications are also  discussed.
