Abstract:

Based on the Hierarchical Coloured Petri Net（HCPN） principles and the Event Operation List, a modeling method is proposed for complicated manufactur  ing systems. The method can reduce the complexity of complicated system modeling and set a good foundation of modularization and hierarchical design for  the simulation software architecture. As a case study, the application of HCPN to the product line of the steel hot rolling mill of Wusteel is also described.
