Abstract:

Awareness has received considerable attention in CSCW research, which improves the usability of collaboration systems. Telepointer is one of the key techniques in cooperative awareness. On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of collaborative writing systems, methods for the consistency maintena nce of telepointers and telepointer mapping are presented under the loose WYSIWIS view, and the awareness fields and overloaded semantics of dynamic telepointers are designed. A global monitor is given in order to improve the flexibility of awareness. In the process of awareness, the flexible filtering of awareness information improves the efficiency of cooperative awareness
