摘要：
本文描述了一种适用于图像压缩的自适应小波方法，该方法采用统一提升框架，并可根据图像局部区域特征，自适应地采用不同的小波滤波器进行处理。该方法已经过计算机 模拟并获得了比较好的效果。

Abstract:
In this paper, an adaptive wavelet image compression algorithm is presented. The method adopts a unified framework for several efficient transforms us ing the lifting scheme, and adaptively performs processing with different wavelet filters. This method has been simulated by the computer and obtained a better result.
