Abstract:

This paper conducts a research on the RM（Rate Monotonic） algorithm, which is a classic real-time scheduling algorithm. In this paper, we present an   improved way based on the elastic priority to decrease the number of starved tasks in order to make the algorithm more suitable for streaming media appl ications.
