本文介绍了一种基于PCI总线启动卡的硬件组成和固件的设计方法.该启动卡中可存放一个几兆字节的操作系统和应用程序,开机后系统可从该卡启动.

Abstract:
This paper introduces the design of the hardware and the firmware of a boot card based on PCI bus. Operating systems and application programs whose size is a few mega bytes can be stored in this device and then PCs can be booted by it.
