Abstract:

This paper presents a new framework based on mobile agents for the Web Services transaction coordination environment. It adopts a transaction model THP as the coordination strategy for the agents,in which a new idea of “transac- tion awareness” is introduced to enhance the intelligence of the agentss during the negotiation. Furthermore, a comparison of two coordination algorithms is carried out in the implementations on the IBM Aglet platform. Thro ugh the simulations, it can be concluded that the proposed protocol is provided with better efficacy of the transaction coordination.
