Abstract:

A mobile ad hoe network is a wireless network without a stationary infrastructrure, whose topological struture changes dynamically. For these reasons, traditional key management protocols are not suitable for an ad hoc network. After analyzing the key-assignment protocols described in reference[1], a  new protocol based on loop communication is presented and its security and peformance analysis conducted. The protocol introduces a circle-like cooperat ive node set to lower the communication traffic while building up secure channels between the nodes, based on security and robustness.
