摘要:
为尽可能降低H.264标准中的帧间模式选择时间复杂度,降低码率,提出一种快速帧间模式选择算法。算法利用目标检测技术中的Surendra算法以及所提出的速度特性和方向特性检测算法提前判定最佳候选模式,降低了帧间模式选择算法时间复杂度。实验结果表明,在保证重建视频质量的前提下,算法不仅能有效降低时间复杂度,还能降低码率;算法总体性能优于H.264标准算法和目前常见的帧间模式选择快速算法;对于含有大量静止背景或只含少量低速运动的视频,算法性能更加优越。

Abstract:
To reduce the time complexity and the bit rate of interframe mode decision in H.264 standard we propose a fast inter mode selection algorithm. The algorithm uses the Surendra algorithm in target detection technology and the proposed selection algorithm for speed and direction features to determine the best inter prediction mode in advance, thus reducing the time complexity. The experimental results show that the algorithm can effectively reduce both the encoding time and the bit rate, while guaranteeing the quality of the reconstructed videos. The overall performance of our algorithm is better than the H.264 standard algorithm and the common inter frame mode selection algorithm. Moreover, for the videos which contain a lot of quiet background or only contain few of lowspeed motions, the performance of the algorithm is much better.
