Abstract:
Massive open online courses (MOOCs) attract the attention of education communities and the industry. We first analyze the status quo of MOOCs, as well as its deficiencies, and propose the concept of intelligent MOOCs, integrating MOOCs with the intelligent tutoring system. A general model of intelligent MOOCs—iMOOCs is designed, and functions of each part of the model and the relationship between them are discussed.
