Abstract:
Under the circumstance of the development of the contemporary software industry, we propose an SECDIO model based on the CDIO concept for building personnel training innovative experimental areas and realize the parallel development of education and the industry. Based on the characteristics and actual conditions of the current software engineering major, we continuously improve the SECDIO model and make it suitable for software engineering teaching. The application of this model not only improves students’ programming capability, but also improves team cooperation ability and allows the students to fully integrate into the learning atmosphere. In the article, we well explain how the "combination of doing and learning" can play a pivotal role in cultivating innovation experimental areas.
