Abstract:

Aiming at the multimedia applications on the Internet, a control scheme of the MPEG-4 video decoding with limited system resources is proposed, which  can not only guarantee the decoding video quality, but also use the network bandwidth efficiently. Thus MPEG-4 streams can be delivered and decoded in a real-time way on the network with QoS ensured.
