Abstract:

The paper analyzes the reasons for the current city traffic congestion and the traffic signal control methods, combines with the characteristics of RFID , puts forward a RFID based and adaptive adjustment algorithm for the optimization of city traffic signal control, achieves realtime adjustment of the traffic flow according to the adjacent intersection lights time, and thus eases the city's traffic congestion. The simulation results show that the method is effective.
