Abstract:

The plan for educating and cultivating excellent engineers is the starting and breakthrough point of the national engineering education innovation, which is also the necessary choice to build an innovative country and to cultivate high quality engineering talents who meet the needs of the development of society. In this paper, the quality of excellent engineers is discussed as well as the engineering education innovation which included clear training goal, universityindustry cooperation, high level of faculty, innovative curriculum design, teaching methods and evaluation system.
