Abstract:

By analyzing the characteristics of RFID data generated in rfidenabled supermarkets, we propose an online and offline data warehousing model to manage the RFID data, using Main Memory Database (MMDB) to improve the efficiency of realtime process and online query, using Disk Resident Database (DRDB) to store the historic data that supports offline query. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is efficient.
