Abstract:
As a highly efficient noncontact way of detecting PCB faults, an infrared detection tester has been widely applied. However, the huge size of the current system has remained a headache for this technology’s further popularization and application. To solve this problem, a highly integrated embedded real time image capturing platform which consists of s3c6410 as a kernel processor and tvp5150 chip as a video decoder and an infrared camera module is established. And a portable infrared detection tester is developed based on this platform. This scheme has the characteristics of small size, low power, low cost, safety, stability and flexible application, which well meets the requirements for portable video capturing devices. A driver design of video capturing for this infrared detection tester is proposed. The procedure of developing the Linux video capture is elaborated based on the standard of V4L2 which is the new framework for video device driver development. And the feasibility has been proved by experiments.
