Abstract:
In ship dynamic positioning systems, it is difficult to share realtime data, due to the heterogeneity of multisensors from different devices. The large fluctuation of the collected data often causes frequent adjustment of the controller, resulting in excessive actions of the actuator on board and increasing the mechanical wear of the devices. To tackle this problem, in this paper, we develop a reliable and highspeed method of data communication among a host computer, main controller and sensors by using OPC technology and VC++ programming. Experimental results suggest that our new method can realize online realtime data filtering that meets project needs.
