Abstract:
The DC bias of MachZehnder modulator directly affects the performance of the radiooverfiber link. Considering three RF signal inputs, the model of radiooverfiber link based on singledrive MachZehnder modulator is established, and the effects of modulator bias on RF gain, noise figure and spurious free dynamic range is analyzed. Simulation results show that, when the DC bias shift is 0.32π, the RF gain is maximum, the noise figure is minimum and the spurious free dynamic range is maximum. At this moment, the performance of radiooverfiber link is optimum.
