Deployment of inspectors for green logistics
in distributed OD carrier network

Abstract:

Inspection for energy consumption and pollution of logistics system involves green evaluation, optimization and management, therefore the deployment of monitors for green logistics in distributed OD carrier network is studied in the paper, and a greentrack inspection system and its layout optimization upon the OD carrier network are further proposed. Meanwhile, a mixed integer programming model is established, based on the consideration of monitor coverage quantity and line correlation, and an OD flow shortest path algorithm in distributed OD carrier network is designed. For the limited investment of monitoring equipments, a feasible alternative solution is proposed with promising economic costs and environmental benefits. The model and algorithm are verified through simulation experiments, and some new research opportunities are analyzed.
