Abstract:

Aiming at the difficult problem of automatic extraction of human feature points   and size from the human body cloud model, the extraction technique of key dimensions based on the national standard data is proposed. Firstly, we use the data provided by the national standard GB100001988 “human dimensions of Chinese adults” to divide the feature search domain, and, in the search domain, coordinates and points to the linear projection distance are combined to extract body feature points. Secondly, the characteristics of planar contour perimeter for dimension measurement are calculated through the improved convex hull method. Finally, z coordinate difference and the distance between two points are used to realize length dimension calculation. Experiments show that the method is little influenced by the type of human body, and has good robustness, fast calculation speed and high precision.
